Feeling really rough today, spent almost all day on my feet and that didn’t seem to go along with the extreme sloth like nature of the last week. My back felt off on deadlifts so I decided to shut it down early and live to fight another day.
Really good deadlift workout tonight, pushing some singles up to an opener range for the meet in a month, I’ll go heavy again in a couple weeks but it was good to have weight in the hands. Then I did part of the bench workout that is supposed to be today, I missed one day this week due to Christmas and being sick earlier in the week.
I decided to widen my squat and go lighter today, trying to get the hips into a bit more, felt it quite a bit, need to be careful with it as I don’t want to push my back. Deadlifts felt pretty good, till the last set where I felt out front past my knees on the first one.
